Designed for PC gamers looking for the best from the latest technologies, the new 28-inch AOC U28G2XU gaming monitor from the G2 line combines details with vivid colors thanks to the IPS panel with 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) crystal-clear resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms GtG response time , which together ensure smooth and fast visual feedback without compromise, allowing gamers to respond instantly. It will be available in Italy starting in August at a price of $799.99.
The AOC U28G2XU features AMD FreeSync Premium technology, Nvidia G-Sync compatibility and is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified – all these features combined make the monitor super dynamic and certainly don’t make it go unnoticed. The monitor offers a 178/178° viewing angle, a wide color gamut and optimal viewing experience (98.8% DCI-P3 coverage), as well as 370 nits of brightness and 1000:1 contrast. And when the going gets tough and sessions go late into the night, LowBlue Light mode reduces potentially harmful blue lights, while FlickerFree technology eliminates backlighting.
In terms of ergonomics, to meet all gamers’ needs, the U28G2XU’s base can be adjusted in height (130 mm) and offers a wide tilt (-5/21.5°) and swivel (-32/32°). It also features 100mm VESA mounting that allows the display to be attached to a mechanical arm. AOC’s new display features red detailing and a borderless screen on three sides, which on the back houses two DisplayPort (1.4) connectors, two HDMI 2.0 connectors supporting 4K@60Hz images, a 3.5mm audio jack and four USB 3.2 connectors to connect peripherals, such as keyboards, mice and webcams. Also on board are two 3W stereo speakers.
Like the rest of the products in the AOC G2 line, the U28G2XU supports up to 6 game modes and features Dial Point (for viewfinder overlay), Game Colour (for color saturation) and Shadow Control so gamers can get the most out of their gaming experience and always be one step ahead of their enemies. And for those who are used to playing games and interacting with friends while broadcasting and commenting live, the U28G2XU monitor features Picture-by-Picture mode, which allows two different image sources to be placed side-by-side at the same time on the screen.
