Ecovacs Unveils DEEBOT T90S: Deep Cleaning Power Meets Practical Intelligence

Ecovacs Robotics has expanded its DEEBOT lineup with the new T90S series, a mid-range robot vacuum that brings the company’s latest cleaning innovations — including OZMO ROLLER 3.0 mopping, BLAST suction technology, and PowerBoost fast charging — to a more accessible price point.

Unveiled at IFA 2026 in Berlin, the DEEBOT T90S is positioned between Ecovacs’ premium X12S OmniCyclone flagship and its budget-friendly offerings, targeting households that want high-end cleaning performance without the flagship price tag. The T90S series will be available from September 24, with prices ranging from €699 to €799 depending on the configuration.

Deeper Washing with OZMO ROLLER 3.0

At the heart of the T90S is Ecovacs’ third-generation OZMO ROLLER mopping system. The technology, which Ecovacs first introduced with the DEEBOT X8 series in 2024, has now evolved through three generations, with more than 2.8 million OZMO ROLLER-equipped units shipped globally as of July 2026.

The fundamental advantage of a roller-based system is straightforward: the cleaning surface is continuously refreshed while the robot works. Unlike conventional mop pads that can accumulate dirt across repeated passes, OZMO ROLLER delivers fresh water to the roller before it reaches the floor, while loosened dirt and wastewater are removed as the roller rotates. The result is more consistent contact with a cleaner mopping surface from start to finish, reducing the risk of dirt being redistributed across the floor.

With OZMO ROLLER 3.0, Ecovacs has extended the roller to 27 centimeters — approximately 50 percent longer than the previous generation — improving cleaning efficiency per pass. The μm-level microfiber roller also helps reduce residual water after cleaning. The system uses 32 nozzles to continuously wash the roller during operation, while TruEdge 3.0 helps the robot clean closer to walls and obstacles.

Powerful Pickup with BLAST and ZeroTangle 4.0

On the vacuuming side, the DEEBOT T90S PRO OMNI delivers up to 40,000 Pa of suction power, supported by Ecovacs’ BLAST. BLAST generates an airflow rate of approximately 16 L/s, enabling effective pickup of pet hair, fine dust, and larger particles across different floor types.

For households dealing with pet hair, the T90S incorporates ZeroTangle 4.0 anti-tangle technology. Using targeted airflow control, it prevents hair from wrapping around the main brush, helping maintain consistent cleaning performance without the chore of manually cutting tangled hair from the brush roll.

The robot also features an automatic mop-lifting mechanism that raises the roller by 15 millimeters when carpet is detected, with a protective shield to keep the mop from touching carpet fibers.

Cleaning That Keeps Going with PowerBoost Charging

One of the persistent frustrations with robot vacuums — running out of battery mid-clean — is addressed through Ecovacs’ PowerBoost charging technology. The system enables the robot to quickly replenish its battery during short dock cycles, so it’s always ready to resume cleaning. For larger homes where a single charge isn’t enough, this translates to fewer interruptions and more continuous cleaning coverage.

The T90S PRO OMNI offers up to 260 minutes of runtime on a single charge, supported by a 4,000 mAh lithium battery that recharges in approximately 2.5 hours.

Smarter, Quieter Operation

Beyond raw cleaning power, the T90S series introduces meaningful quality-of-life improvements. Ecovacs has reduced noise levels by up to 3 dBA during dust collection and 5 dBA during vacuuming through improvements to the fan, brush, and air duct design — a welcome change for homes with pets or for those who schedule cleanings during work hours.

Navigation is handled by AIVI 3D 4.0 obstacle recognition, which identifies and safely navigates around furniture, loose objects, and pets. The system is complemented by AGENT YIKO 2.0, Ecovacs’ AI assistant, which learns household habits and preferences to recommend appropriate cleaning routines.

The OMNI docking station automates key maintenance tasks, including roller washing, dirty water treatment, and dust disposal, reducing the frequency of hands-on intervention required from users.

Positioning and Availability

The DEEBOT T90S series fills a strategic gap in Ecovacs’ 2026 lineup. While the flagship X12S OmniCyclone targets premium buyers with a 53 AW motor and up to 27,000 Pa suction, and the T90 Max Pro Omni pushes suction to 40,000 Pa with advanced ZeroTangle 4.0 technology, the T90S brings many of these innovations into a more attainable price bracket.

The T90S will be available from September 24 at €699 for the base model and €799 for the Pro Omni variant. Ecovacs has also announced a promotional €100 discount on T90S models from September 29 through October 7.

As the robot vacuum market continues to mature, the T90S represents a calculated bet: that consumers increasingly value real-world cleaning effectiveness — deeper washing, stronger pickup, and uninterrupted operation — over headline-grabbing specifications alone. With OZMO ROLLER 3.0, BLAST, and PowerBoost working in concert, Ecovacs is positioning the T90S as a robot that doesn’t just clean harder, but cleans smarter, for longer.
