CENAVA W81H IP67 Rugged Tablet PC

You may have come across Rugged smartphones before, and there are many Chinese brands that make waterproof phones, such as Blackview, CUBOT, Ulefone, etc., and they have achieved good results in this field. However, Rugged tablets are not common, and I recently saw that CENAVA has launched an IP67-rated waterproof tablet with the model number W81H.

First, we see that the device is very thick, measuring 223*146*22 mm in length, width and height, which makes it look bulky, but considering that it is a dustproof, waterproof and drop-proof device, it makes sense.

This is an industrial-grade tablet device, pre-installed with Win 10 system, suitable for people working in extreme weather and extreme environments.

Processor is Intel Cherry trail Z8350 which is a power-efficient quad-core SoC for Windows and Android devices (tablets and 2-in-1 devices) that was launched in February 2016. It is available at 1.44 – 1.92 GHz and is a member of the Cherry Trail platform. Thanks to a new 14 nm low-power process with triple-gate transistors (P1273), its power efficiency has been significantly improved over its predecessor Bay Trail-T (e.g. Atom Z3795). In addition to the CPU core, the SoC offers a GPU with DirectX 11.2 support and an LPDDR3 memory controller (2x 64-bit, 25.6 GB/s).

The CENAVA W81H features an 8-inch IPS touchscreen with 1280 x 800 resolution and a Corning Gorilla Glass panel. It has a combination of 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, and a 6000mAh battery with high-temperature support. It works in -10 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius. So I think this device will be very popular, if you have special requirements.
