The CMACEWHEEL GT20 is the new electric bike successfully launched by the Chinese manufacturer. Compared to previous models, the GT20 wants to attack the premium segment, offering high autonomy, low weight and elegant design. It is a model for traveling around the city, because it comes without a dedicated suspension.
The bike chassis is made of aluminum and weighs only 23 kilograms, being even lighter than some electric scooters. From the presentation images it can be seen that the emphasis was on design and finishes. The cables are hidden through the frame, the display on the handlebars is a quality one, as is the LED taillight on the back.
In “Moped” mode, the bike can reach a maximum speed of 30 km/h, only using the accelerator lever. As for the autonomy of 100 kilometers, it is obtained by activating the “Assist” mode, limiting the power of the electric motor to an optimal level for assisted pedaling.
The battery is integrated in the seatpost, has a capacity of 10Ah/48V and can be removed to be charged in the house. A full charge is made in 5-6 hours. The motor is 350W, embedded in the rear wheel hub. To compensate for the lack of suspension, the wheels are 20 inches, which is large enough for a folding bike. The folding system has remained unchanged, but due to its low weight, it can be transported and stored more easily. CMACEWHEEL GT20 comes with front-rear disc brakes, LED headlight for night driving and electric horn.
