On the official website of Cubot quietly appeared smartphone Cubot Note 9. The price is unknown, the screen resolution is modestly silent, the chipset is ancient and weak. Budget, and quite old-fashioned.

The Unisoc SC9863A chip was born in 2018. Still very popular as the cheapest solution for LTE-enabled smartphones. About a hundred thousand points in AnTuTu. There is not much memory, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage. Of course, there is support for memory cards.

The screen has a diagonal of 5.99″. No notches – the front camera is placed on a wide strip above the screen. Such screens were very popular four years ago. Aspect ratio 18:9. The resolution is unknown. At best, I suspect 720×1440 (269 ppi).

The battery is excellent, its capacity is huge – as much as 6000 mAh.

There is not much information about the camera. Front 5 MP resolution. The rear camera is a triple. The main module has a modest resolution of 16 MP. What are the auxiliary cameras, I do not know.

Of the pleasant things. The latest Android 11 and Type-C.

The unpleasant. Single-band Wi-Fi. No fingerprint scanner.

I wonder if the Cubot Note 9 will be on sale? Or will they recognize it as a glitch and quickly scrap it?
