Xiaomi Fengmi Vogue Pro Projector Launched with New FengOS

On the afternoon of May 25, Fengmi officially released a new projector with FengOS operating system: Vogue Pro at the new product launch conference. Compared with the previous Fengmi Vogue, what are the differences between this upgraded version of the product? Today, let’s compare.

Here is a detailed comparison of the parameters of these two products:

1. Configuration

As can be seen from the above picture, these two products are basically the same in terms of hardware configuration. Both are powered by a 4-core 12nm Amlogic T972 processor chip, both with 2GB of RAM + 32GB of flash memory, ensuring smooth performance in daily projector use.

At the same time, both products are equipped with 0.47 size DMD display chip, physical resolution of 1920X1080dpi, both support HLG and HDR10+, both products are up to the level of the mainstream projector image quality performance.

The new projector, the Fengmi Vogue Pro, boosts the picture brightness to 1600 ANSI lumens, compared to 1500 ANSI lumens for the Vogue. In terms of brightness, the Vogue Pro performs better.

2. System

Perhaps the biggest difference between the two is the operating system; the Fengmi Vogue is powered by MIUI TV’s Pathwall system, while the upgraded Fengmi Vogue Pro is powered by FengOS, a system designed for large screens.

With FengOS, the Vogue Pro has added a number of new features, including full-screen content preview, no boot ads, a quick launch pad, the ability to customize the home page, and the ability to freely zoom and shift the screen.

Compared to the original Pathwall system, the Vogue Pro’s FengOS system is much more functional and playable. Both products can also download more apps by installing the Dangbei APP store.

3. Function

While both products support ±45° manual trapezoidal correction and autofocus. But in terms of focus, the Vogue is much worse. The Vogue Pro is equipped with a TOF focusing module and a six-axis gyroscope that can sense the distance between the projection and the screen in real time, and advanced algorithms that dramatically increase the focusing speed while eliminating the need for focus charts, allowing for senseless autofocus.

Meanwhile, the Fengmi Vogue Pro adds AI far-field voice capabilities, built-in Xiaoai, and a microphone array of four highly sensitive sensors to reduce background noise and accurately identify and locate sound sources without a remote control. Whereas on Vogue, there is no far-field voice, requiring the use of a remote control for voice operation.

4. Summary

The two projectors are basically the same in terms of configuration and image performance, the difference is in brightness, system, focus function and intelligent voice. Clearly, as a new product, the Fengmi Vogue Pro outperforms its predecessor in several respects.

In addition, it is worth mentioning: Fengmi has once again released the new flagship Fengmi 4K Cinema Pro equipped with the Amlogic T972 chip platform, the brightness has been increased to 2400ANSI, using the new ALPD laser light source, the brightness has been increased by more than 40% compared to the previous work, and the price is also very expensive, reaching $2100.
