On the occasion of the Global Sources Electronics Fair 2019, the visit to the booth of the OEM Coosea reserved two pleasant surprises for us: the brand new smartphones Koobee F6 and X6R. The first is characterized by the powerful processor MediaTek Helio G90T already seen on Redmi Note 8 Pro, while the second has a full screen display and 108MP camera.
For now they are only two prototypes (F6 still a mockup) that you can see in our preview from the Hong Kong event but the company ensures that they should arrive on the market very soon. However, it is not excluded that the final versions may be completely different in both design and technical specifications.
The design of the two models is quite similar, especially with regard to the back cover which is strongly inspired by that of OPPO Reno2, with a vertical strip that houses cameras, LED flashes and fingerprint reader.
On the front, the Koobee F6 features a 6.53″ FHD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) tri-bezel-less display with central waterdrop notch for a 16MP or 32MP camera. The rear camera, on the other hand, includes four sensors: the main 48MP or 64MP one, an 8MP wide angle one and two 2MP sensors for macro and Bokeh effect. We point out that on the prototype that was shown to us is missing the fourth 2MP sensor that could be integrated on the final model.
Below the shell is one of the MediaTek Helio G90 and G90T octa-core processors (2×2.05GHz ARM Cortex-A76 + 6×1.95 GHz ARM Cortex-A55) with HyperEngine technology for gaming, Mali-G76 ARM GPUs, 4 or 6 GB RAM and 64 or 128 GB ROMs. The battery is a 4050 mAh unit, with support for 18W fast charging via USB Type-C and 10W wireless charging, and unlocking via facial recognition and NFC is supported. In addition, there is a 3.5 mm jack input for connecting the headphones. The device should be on the market in the black color you can see in the video and in the Wedding White.
