MSI brought the P65 Creator notebook to IFA 2018. The title suggests that the novelty is positioned as a tool for those who create content: for designers, artists, animators and so on. The design of the PC itself corresponds to the positioning. On the one hand, the novelty looks laconic and strict enough. On the other hand, the air holes here are very ornate and original. And if to consider the given novelty as the game laptop, and it quite for this purpose approaches, the picture will be even more interesting.
A total of three main modifications are available, although each can also be modified. All versions are equipped with eighth-generation Intel Core processors up to and including Core i7 models. Everyone is equipped with 15.6-inch Full HD IPS displays, but the older version of the P65 Creator 8RF has a 144 Hz panel, which suggests positioning for gamers. Also, all laptops can have up to 64 GB of RAM and up to two M.2 SSDs.
The main difference is the video cards. P65 Creator 8RD version is equipped with GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, P65 Creator 8RE received GTX 1060 Max-Q, and top P65 Creator 8RF can boast GTX 1070 Max-Q. That is, in general, any modification can be used for games, the question is only in the settings of graphics quality. In addition, the older version is equipped with a more powerful charger (180W vs. 150W), but the battery is the same for all – 82Wh.
The port set includes USB-C with support for Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.1 (x3), RJ45, HDMI and Mini-Display Port. You can also note the stereo speakers, 720p camera resolution, fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0 adapter, thin frames around the screen and dimensions of 357.7 x 247.7 x 17.9 mm at a weight of 1.88 kg. Available in white or silver to choose from. Sales of the new product will start in October at a price of 1700 euros.
