Last year, when we talked to you about the Vernee M5, the idea was clear: a cheap mobile phone with convincing hardware that didn’t weigh heavily in your pocket. Today, we announced the upgraded version of the same terminal for 2018, the Vernee M6.
In today’s review we analyzed the Vernee M6, a compact and efficient mid-range terminal, oriented to daily use and with a good value for money, commonplace in sludge smartphones of the Asian company.
The Vernee M6 doesn’t bring many changes compared to the previous model. However, they have taken charge of polishing it and updated it in 2 very specific aspects for the new trends of 2018: the screen and the camera. How is the new Vernee access mobile phone?
One of the significant changes of this new model is its display. The old 5.2-inch front panel is replaced by a new 5.7-inch frameless display with HD+ resolution (1440 x 720p) and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The terminal has a 2.5D curved design and metallized body, available in blue and black. There is no doubt that we are looking at a thin and contained terminal, with dimensions of 15.40 x 7.32 x 0.69 cm and a weight of just 150 grams.
The ideal phone for those who are looking for a mobile phone with a fully exploited display that is not a burden when you carry it with you. Believe it or not, this is something that many people have been considering very seriously for some time now.
As far as power is concerned, the same number of wires are retained as in the M5. One MTK6750 Octa Core 1.5GHz processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB via SD. All this with Android 7.0 as captain. A 64-bit processor that is not the most suitable for games with a high graphic load, but that shows a more than satisfactory option for the daily use of apps, navigation, chat and games with different coats.
If we are not hardcore gamers and are looking for a cheap mobile phone that performs smoothly, this is a combination of components that looks really interesting.
The rear camera of the Vernee M6 has been optimized from 13MP to 16MP with a focus speed of 0.2 seconds. In the area of selfies we find a 13MP lens with beauty mode for the typical touches of enhancement “on the go”. In terms of autonomy, the M6 maintains the same 3300mAh. A battery that shows good durability, largely aided by the low-power processor you mount. The Vernee M6 has dual navigation system by GLONASS and GPS. It has Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB port for charging, 3.5mm headphone input and dual SIM (micro+nano).
