The new Nvidia Shield TV has appeared in the database of the American regulator FCC

The current revision of NVIDIA SHIELD TV debuted two years ago, and the manufacturer is already preparing to release a new version of the device. The database of the American regulator FCC has the first details about filling the “charged” modification of the set-top box with a new processor.

At the moment, the novelty is code named NVIDIA Corporation SHIELD Android TV Game Console P3430, which is likely to be reduced to a more standard release. The updated version of the console will have a new processor, remote control and improved controller. The console’s performance is based on the Tegra X1 T210 B01 processor, which runs on eight processing cores with rather high clock speeds (4 x Cortex-A57 1.9 GHz + 4 x Cortex-A53 1.3 GHz). The console is also equipped with an NVIDIA Maxwell graphics chip running at 1.0 GHz with support for OpenGL ES 3.2 technology. But the new product has rather little RAM – 3 GB. For the modern market of game devices it is rather modestly. Especially if to consider that the given prefix is more focused on games, instead of on multimedia.

Insiders assure that the NVIDIA console company will officially present at the exhibition CES 2020, although the announcement can hold and less officially. The information even about approximate date of release and cost of the console is not present – it is possible to guess only in this connection. But, it is necessary to notice that the previous prefix of company NVIDIA costs approximately 180 dollars and we hope that founders of the fresh version do not intend to pass on a new level.
