The Chinese brand Umidigi has officially introduced the Umidigi Power. The new mid-range smartphone should impress with a large battery and be available from April 22.
The Umidigi Power is a 6.3-inch mid-range smartphone with an IPS display with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. Thanks to its waterdrop notch and narrow edges, it should cover 92.7 percent of the front. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 Octa Core processor with 4GB of RAM. In addition, there is 64 GB of internal memory with the option of an expansion via microSD card.
On the back of the Umidigi Power a dual camera with f/1.8 is used, both sensors of which have a resolution of 16 or 5 megapixels. The Selfie-Cam also achieves 16 megapixels, but with f/2.0 it’s not quite as fast.
However, the highlight of the Umidigi Power, as the name suggests, is its battery. It has a capacity of 5,150 mAh and should therefore guarantee a long battery life. Nevertheless, it is quickly recharged, as the smartphone supports Fast Charging with 18 watts. The whole thing is only weighted down – 190 grams are not exactly little even today.
The Umidigi Power, which by the way is delivered with Android 9.0 Pie, is supposed to be available from April 22. A price has not yet been announced, but given the features I would guess it to be just under $200. At the moment there is still a lottery running in which 10 copies of the smartphone will be raffled.
