Good news, the Tanix TX6 TV Box received firmware of Android 9.0

The popular TV box Tanix TX6, an overview of which can be found on our website, has received a firmware update based on the new Android 9.0 OS. The console works on the basis of the powerful SoC Allwinner H6, which includes a quad-core processor with cores ARM Cortex-A53 with a clock speed of up to 1.8 GHz and graphics processor ARM Mali-T720-MP2.

It also features 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 32 GB of eMMC file storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card slot on one side of the case. The Tanix TX6 TV Box comes with an advanced MIMO 2×2 AC WiFi adapter with external antenna and Bluetooth 4.1. The connectivity includes a 10/100 network port, SPDIF digital audio output, two USB 2.0 ports, SPDIF video output, one USB 3.0 and one HDMI 2.0a.
