The line of protected smartphones of the Hong Kong brand Blackview was added to the model BV8800, equipped with a powerful battery and an unusual camera system.
The battery capacity is 8,380 mAh – against 5,000 mAh for an average smartphone in 2021. The battery can be charged in 33-watt fast mode.
As for the rear cameras, there are four of them in the Blackview BV8800: the main 50-megapixel module Samsung GN1, 8-megapixel sensor with wide-angle optics, 2-megapixel camera for bokeh effect, and – most importantly – 20-megapixel module for night shooting with IR illumination.
In 2021, such modules began to appear in smartphones “off-road” from China, but are still rare.
Blackview BV8800 case meets the standards of IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H. The first involves the ability to swim in water to a depth of one and a half meters, the second – the ability to withstand water jets, the third – the preservation of performance after a fall from a height of one and a half meters.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.58-inch screen with a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The device is based on an eight-core processor MediaTek Helio G96. The amount of RAM and internal memory is 8GB and 128 GB, respectively.
Also in the smartphone there is a 16-megapixel frontal, NFC chip, a slot for MicroSD cards, USB Type-C port and dactoscanner (located on the side edge of the case).
