Cubot, a cell phone manufacturer from China that focuses on overseas markets, today officially revealed its upcoming new phone Cubot X50. The latest product in the Cubot X series is the Cubot X30, and we can compare the Cubot X50 with the Cubot X30 from the official data released so far.
First of all, the Cubot X50 has a 6.67-inch FHD+ screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is slightly larger than the Cubot X30’s 6.4Inch FHD screen.
The Cubot X50 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chip with an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0GHz and Mali-G52 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 512GB via SD card.
The upgrades in screen size and chip can provide a better experience for users who like to watch mobile videos and play games.
This configuration is a big improvement over the Cubot X30 with Helio P60, Octa-core, ARM Mali- G72 MP3 GPU.
As for the camera, the Cubot X50 has four sensors on the back, including a 64MP main sensor, a 5MP wide-angle shooter, 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfie lovers, there is a single 16-megapixel sensor reserved for the punch cutout. The Cubot X30’s main camera is a Samsung S5KGM1 48MP with a 16MP ultra wide-angle lens.
As for the operating system, the Cubot X50 comes with the latest Android 11 system. In addition, the device offers support for dual 4G VoLTE. It packs a 4500mAh Li-ion battery, a slight upgrade from the X30’s 4200mAh battery. The last highlight is that the Cubot X50 offers 18W fast charging via USB Type-C port.
