As expected, the company DJI introduced Osmo Pocket. The novelty differs from other representatives of the series in reduced dimensions: with dimensions of 121.9 x 36.9 x 28.6 mm and a mass of 116 grams, it can easily be carried in a pocket.
In a camera mounted on the universal joint, a CMOS 1 / 2.3-inch format matrix with a resolution of 12 megapixels is installed. A lens with an aperture of F / 2.0 provides a viewing angle of 80°. The range of exposure covers values from 8 to 1/8000 s, the range of sensitivity from 100 to 3200 ISO. Photo can be taken in four modes (Single Shot, Panorama, Timelapse and Motionlapse), but the maximum video recording capacity is 4K at 60 fps Interestingly, when lowering the resolution to Full HD, the maximum frame rate is still the same 60 fps.
Material is stored using SD cards up to 256 GB (there is only one slot), and the camera is powered by a battery with a capacity of 875 mAh. The claimed autonomy reaches 140 minutes.
The processor, which is responsible for image processing, is hidden in the handle and is cooled passively. Focus and settings management is assigned to a small touch screen, but you can also use a smartphone screen as a viewfinder.
A feature of the Osmo Pocket is the presence of a connector for connecting modules – it is located under the cover above the video recording button. In general, DJI offers a lot of accessories for the novelty: from a carrying case and a controller with a circular selector to a cover for underwater shooting and USB-C and Lightning adapters.
