The Chinese manufacturer DOOGEE has announced its new entry-level smartphone Doogee N20. Despite the low price, it is equipped with a triple camera including a wide-angle sensor.
Doogee uses a 6.3 inch FullHD+ display on the new N20, which is pierced by a waterdrop notch on the top as is common today. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 Octa-Core SoC with 4 GB RAM. In addition, there is 64 GB of internal memory, with two SIM cards and a microSD card in the case for memory expansion.
The Doogee N20 is supposed to convince especially with its rear triple camera. The Chinese manufacturer combines a Sony IMX398 main sensor with 16 megapixels and f/1.8 with an 8-megapixel and a 5-megapixel depth camera. Whether the latter is actually used to calculate the bokeh effect, however, must first be proven by initial tests.
Further features of the Doogee N20 include a 16-megapixel front camera and a 4360 mAh strong battery. Android is pre-installed ex works in version 9.0 Pie without manufacturer interface.
The Doogee N20 is expected to start trading on June at a hitherto unknown price. Although I don’t have too high expectations regarding camera performance, the overall package makes an interesting impression, at least on paper. But the attractiveness of the device will ultimately be determined by its price.
However, if you can’t wait, I suggest to learn about its previous generation N-series product DOOGEE N10, which is an entry-level Notch screen mobile phone, which is very popular in major e-commerce platforms.
