Doogee S86 is a new rugged-phone with MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, 6.1-inch HD+ display and quad rear AI camera. On pre-order on Aliexpress for $299.99 in three colorways, but soon available in a limited launch offer for much less.

Doogee has introduced several smartphones in recent months, such as for example Doogee S88 Plus and Doogee S96 Pro, but there seems to be room for a new model that inherits from these power and autonomy: Doogee S86 is already on pre-order on Aliexpress at $299, but the price will be cut from February 25, the day of its official presentation.

Doogee S86 is an IP68/IP69K certified rugged-phone, built with a sturdy metal frame, covered with rubberized parts to be able to withstand accidental bumps and falls, sand, dust and extreme temperatures. And it’s not only an armored smartphone, but also a battery-phone since it integrates an 8500 mAh mega-battery that will be able to ensure a battery life of 27 days on standby, 2-4 days with average use and up to 39 hours on calls. It also supports 24W fast charging through the USB Type-C port.

Moving on to the hardware platform, Doogee S86 integrates an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor at 2.0GHz (12nm) with ARM Mali-G72 graphics at 800MHz, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage, which together will be able to ensure power and speed in any situation. The front is occupied by the 6.1-inch HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass, while on the back takes place the AI quad-camera consisting of a 16MP main sensor, plus an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth camera with LED Flash. The 8MP selfie camera, on the other hand, is hidden in the center teardrop notch. There’s no shortage of 2W stereo speakers and the NFC chip.
