GEPRC Crocodile Baby 4 Inch HD 4S LR Micro Long Range Freestyle FPV Racing Drone

One of the modes of the moment are the 4-inch micro racers called Long Range. Their purpose? Trying to stay below 250 grams in flight order to pass under the radar of the regulations coming in 2021 in Europe and worldwide. With the Crocodile Baby 4-inch HD, the manufacturer GePRC is part of this trend. It is an aircraft made of a carbon structure with 2.5 mm thick arms. The diagonal from engine to engine is 17.4 cm. The motors are brushless GR1404 to 2750KV for Gemfan 4042 two-bladed propellers.

The flight controller is a GEP-20A-F4 AIO, which is based on an F4 processor associated with a 20A 4-in-1 ESC. The video system is a Caddx Vista box with the DJI camera, and a GePRC Momoda 5.8G LHCP polarized antenna. It is therefore compatible with the FPV headphones and DJI’s radio control. You can choose a version with an additional receiver R9MM or XM+ from FrSky, or Crossfire Nano RX from TBS. In addition, you can add a BN-228 GPS module to take advantage of Betaflight telemetry data and the GPS Rescue function. The equipment is completed by a buzzer, the GePRC Finder. The device weighs 160.2 grams without its battery.

There is no battery supplied with the device, but the manufacturer recommends a Lipo 4S 750 mAh with XT30 plug to keep the weight in flight below 250 grams. The autonomy with this battery is not indicated. GePRC communicates on the other hand over 28 minutes of flight with a Li-Ion battery, the GEPRC Lion VTC6 3000 mAh.
