Entry-level phones may not seem to be the most attractive, but you must remember that for most manufacturers, the sales volume of these models is actually the highest. The HOMTOM brand is very professional in this regard, they have just released another entry-level product HOMTOM S17.
The hardware configuration of the HOMTOM S17 is not high. It only uses 3G MT6580 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, 5,5-inch HD display, 1280×640 pixel resolution, mixed dual SIM card slot, 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera. 8 megapixel self-timer, 3000 mAh battery capacity, fingerprint scanner, Face ID technology and a whole bunch of sensors.
Compared to Homtom S16, the new Homtom S17 features a standard installed Android 8.1 and face recognition unlocking via the front camera. Also different is the texture of the rear panel which, being removable, allows access to the battery. In light of the limited changes, the price of Homtom S17 should not deviate much from the $70 to which you can buy Homtom S16.
