Honor, the sister brand of Huawei with the focus on the digital natives among us, has finally introduced the Honor Note 10. This mighty smartphone not only has the potential to become a price-performance miracle, but could be dangerous to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 or Huawei Mate 10 Pro.
For quite some time, there have been rumors about a Honor Phablet named Note 10. On July 31, Honor officially introduced the largest smartphone ever made in-house.
But not only the dimensions of the 6.95-inch Phablets are huge, but also the battery of the Note 10 of Honor: a whopping 5,000 mAh sums up the power cell. Thus, the Honor Note 10 surpasses even the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9, that according to the latest information with 4,000 mAh must make do. Let’s hope that Honor has matched the combination of hardware and software so well that it actually lasts for the specified 18 hours of continuous video consumption.
Back to the display: Although this does not cover the entire front, but with 6.95 inches in 18.5: 9 format, the AMOLED panel is huge. Although it resolves only with Full HD +, but the lower resolution could certainly ensure that the touch 10 gentler with the battery bypasses.
Display and battery are fully geared towards multimedia consumption, which continues Honor at the Note 10 in terms of camera equipment. For selfies, a 13 MP camera is available, while we know the combination of colored 16-MP sensor and a monochrome 24-MP sensor already from the Honor 10. Of course, Honor once again highlights the intelligence of the camera, which can not only detect scenes and objects and thus optimize the settings, but also stabilize the image electronically.
In the software the Honor Note 10 will be delivered with EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1. Of course, this software already includes the already often mentioned GPU Turbo function.
With the Honor Note 10, the sister brand not only wants to lure the multimedia fans, but for the first time, one also wants to approach business customers. In addition Honor receives the feature already known from the Huawei Mate 10 Pro and P20 Pro called Easy Projection . If the Honor Note 10 is connected to a display, the display is switched to the desktop mode. The smartphone then turns into a touchpad and software keyboard, so no additional hardware is needed. For Samsung such a conversion is still the DeX Pad as a docking station for the Galaxy Note 8 needed and peripherals must be connected by cable. Rumor has it, Samsung plans to abolish the Note 9 for the docking station compulsion for the desktop mode.
