PIPO Company, known for its hybrids of tablets and net tops, introduced another novelty in this form factor – X12. The computer supports dual boot Windows 10 / Android 5.1 and is built on the basis of the Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor with a clock speed of 1.44 GHz and graphics Gen8 HD. PiPo X12 is equipped with a touch-screen 10.8-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, plus HDMI 1.4a and VGA outputs for connecting an external monitor.
There are also USB 2.0 ports in the number of three, one USB 3.0, 100 Mbps Ethernet, a microSD slot and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Thanks to the optional RS-232 interface, the device can be used as part of a POS system with a barcode scanner, a bank card reader and other cash equipment connected to it. Data transmission over wireless channels is possible due to the availability of Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n / ac and Bluetooth 4.0 adapters.
The amount of DDR3 RAM installed in PiPo X12 is 4 GB, as a built-in drive uses a flash module with a capacity of 64 GB. PiPo X12 has dimensions of 250.6 × 174.3 × 70.4 mm and weighs 850 grams, with a 10,000 mAh battery inside it, and the kit includes a stylus and an external 5V / 3A power supply. The retail price of the novelty is just under $ 230.
