As planned , Realme has made its latest entry range official, a new Realme 5i that becomes the fourth version of its series. There is Realme 5, Realme 5 Pro, Realme 5S and now also Realme 5i.
Realme has become one of the revelations of the year thanks to an impressive quality – price ratio that has led it to compete with the Xiaomi itself. The Chinese company has become the fifth best-selling brand in our country with only a few months to live, and everything seems to indicate that 2020 will be a year full of important changes for them. Well, if Realme’s prices were already low by themselves, they have now decided to bet on an even cheaper device with which they want to approach the low range.
This time we talk about Realme 5i, a device with which the eastern giant seeks to attract those users who do not want to spend a lot of money on their terminals. Something similar to what Xiaomi has done with the Redmi 7 and Redmi 8 that can work quite well among people who do not need high specifications. We tell you all the details.
At the design level, the new Chinese terminal is identical to its older brother with four cameras in the back and the water drop shaped notch in the front. But the design is not the most important in this type of economic terminals, the real changes appear among its internal specifications. According to the leaks, the Realme 5i will arrive with a 6.52-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, the Snapdragon 665 inside and a configuration of 3/4 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of internal storage. The operating system will remain Android 9 Pie with Color OS 6.1 as a base and the cameras will consist of four 12 + 8 + 2 + 2 megapixel sensors. All this, supported by a 5,000 mAh battery.
For now, Realme 5i will only be available in the Chinese market. However, it seems obvious that over the months it can be acquired internationally. The exchange price is 165 euros, and may remain outside the Asian borders.
