In May of this year, rumours began to spread that the Chinese company ByteDance – owner of the quite popular service TikTok – wanted to launch its own smartphone on the market, which was officially confirmed in July. The device is now available in China under the Smartisan label and costs the equivalent of 600 US dollars.
Of course, the software is strongly geared towards TikTok, for example in China the service can be started by a wiping gesture upwards on the lock screen. In addition, the camera app has all TikTok effects and filters so that they can be applied directly to the shots. As far as hardware is concerned, the technology used here is reasonably modern. The SoC is a Snapdragon 855 from Qualcomm, which also has four cameras (including a 48-MP sensor), an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 4,000 mAh battery. Whether and when the Nut Pro 3 (what a name …) will also come to Germany remains uncertain. TikTok also has a quite large community in Germany, but the phone should still have a hard time.
In the database of the Chinese agency 3C, a new smartphone from Smartisan Technology was seen, which runs under the model number OE106.
Sources are confident that this is a smartphone Smartisan Nut Pro 3. The description says that the novelty will receive an 18-watt charger.
Smartisan Nut Pro 2
The predecessor in the person of Smartisan Nut Pro 2 was equipped with a single-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 system. The novelty is supposed to be received by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, which is produced using 10 nm process technology.
The release of Smartisan Nut Pro 3 is expected this fall.
Smartizan is a very good company. Specially in audio quality.
