Vivo NEX is the new line of smartphones of the Chinese firm and comes with features that stand out among the little innovation of the mobile industry.
If the screen is one of the main components in a smart mobile in the Vivo NEX reaches a superlative degree with a panel Super AMOLED of 6.59 inches and native resolution FHD + for 2160 x 1080 pixels. The concept of “all-screen” is raised to the maximum because the frames are minimal and its proportion with respect to the chassis rises to 91.24%, well above what its competitors offer.
This ratio would not have been possible without one of the innovative components of this terminal, a front camera with Sony 8 megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture included in a retractable mechanism that only comes into view when we want to use it.
Another component that makes it possible is the absence of loudspeakers, since the entire screen becomes a loudspeaker through the “Screen SoundCasting” technology.
Finally, highlight the inclusion of the optical fingerprint sensor on the same screen. Vivo NEX is one of the first terminals to use it under Synaptics technology and it seems the best way to include biometric authentication technology in the designs of “all-screen” smartphones.
Vivo NEX is not without power. Marketed in two variants, the NEX S mounts a Snapdragon 845 chipset with 8 Gbytes of RAM and up to 256 Gbytes of internal storage capacity. The second model is the NEX A, with Snapdragon 710, 6 Gbytes of memory and the same storage capacity.
Both devices have a rear camera with double sensor. One of 12 MP with two-tone LED flash (Sony IMX363 sensor and 4-axis OIS) and aperture f / 1.8, and a secondary 5 MP with aperture f / 2.4. The front camera is the aforementioned 8 megapixel camera with aperture f / 2.0. Its battery is 4,000 mAh and its usual connectivity with USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm jack, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5 and 4G-LTE.
