One of the most reliable and proven manufacturers of low-cost Chinese TV boxes, VONTAR, has released another model of TV set-top box called VONTAR X1, which has a good performance and supports many modern multimedia features. The novelty runs on a quad-core processor Allwinner H616 running Android 10 operating system. The novelty is available for order in three versions at the official VONTAR store on Aliexpress at a price from $47.99.

The set-top box runs on SoC Allwinner H616 with four cores of ARM Cortex A53 and a graphics processor Mali-G31 MP2. The system has 2 or 4 GB of RAM and 16.32 or 64 GB of internal memory depending on the configuration. Installed Android 10.0 OS with support for voice assistant, removable wallpaper, disable ROOT-access and a convenient system monitor. There is also support for firmware updates via network (OTA – updates).

The device supports dual-band WiFi b/g/n AC with external antenna and Bluetooth 5.0. From the connectors there are: LAN 10/100 network interface, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 2.0 and analog AV output.
