The Elephone U2 will be another smartphone after Elephone PX, in which the manufacturer will decide to use a sliding module of the apparatus dedicated to Self. According to the latest information, this will be a mid-range model, which will also be able to boast three cameras on the back panel. It is therefore worth taking a look at the components used.
MediaTek helio P60 with 4 GB of RAM will be responsible for the correct operation of the Elephone U2. This is a suitable proposal for Chinese mid-range devices, as evidenced by the use of four ARM Cortex-A73 cores with a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz and four additional cores on the ARM Cortex-A53 architecture. If I would also mention that the graphics are the responsibility of ARM Mali-G72MP3, and SoC was produced in a 12nm technological process.
There will be 64 GB of internal memory reserved for the data, which can probably be expanded also with a microSD card, but unfortunately we do not have confirmation of this information at the moment.
The power will be provided by a 3500 mAh battery, which should translate into appropriate operating time, contrary to what some people may think. After all, there is an energy-saving SoC system on board, which manages energy management well.
There is a set of two lenses 20MP + 2MP. Although their characteristics and functions are unknown, this additional lens should be used for background blurring effect.
On the back there are three different sensors, 12MP, 5MP and 2 megapixels respectively. Although the main fiddle is of course the main sensor, the 5MP module is also interesting, which will most likely have a wide angle.
All kinds of content will be displayed in FHD+ resolution on a screen with a diagonal of 6.28″. It will be surrounded by very slender frames.
Unfortunately, at the moment the manufacturer did not reveal any more details about the upcoming smartphone Elephone U2. However, considering the valuation of the Elephone PX ($299), you can safely assume that the title character will be more expensive – because it is better equipped.
