Atomstack M4 Laser Marking Machine

In fact, I’ve released a number of models of laser engravers recently, but almost all of them are equipped with diode lasers. But so far, none of them can engrave on metal as well as the Atomstack M4. The most important reason is that the Atomstack M4 is an infrared fiber laser, which is what makes it so unique.

It is also worth mentioning that it is a very mini and portable product. Compared to the expensive attributes of other large industrial machines, the Atomstack M4 is not expensive, which is exactly why I focused my attention on it.

With dimensions of 320*200*250mm and a weight of 5.89KG, the Atomstack M4 laser marker is a compact and lightweight product, or at least an industrial evolution compared to other fiber optic markers that usually weigh 50kg. Thanks to this, we can realize the need for mobile engraving.

Unlike typical laser engravers, this new marking machine from Atomstack uses an infrared pulsed laser with a wavelength of 1,064nm, making this product a fiber optic marker. In addition, it offers an engraving area of 70*70 mm, which is more than enough for the average user who does not need a large engraving area. It has a very fast speed of up to 12,000mm/s.

Let’s switch to the laser, Atomstack M4 has an electrical power of 20W and a fiber laser power output of 2W. Don’t underestimate this 2W infrared laser, it can engrave on almost any metal. For example, a 20W diode laser cannot engrave on gold, silver and copper, but a 2W infrared laser can easily do so.

In terms of safety, this is a very safe laser engraver as it does not produce blue light that is harmful to the eyes and, according to the manufacturer, it will not harm human skin in case of accidental contact. However, not everything is rosy and we are obliged to warn that due to the type of infrared laser it uses, this machine does not work well on wood or paper, so we can only recommend it to users who mainly want to engrave on metal and plastic.
