Blackview BL6000 Pro is The World’s First 5G Rugged Smartphone

It’s hard to believe that the outdoor Rugged Phone line has a 5G member so soon. Blackview has really made a name for themselves in the outdoor triple defense phone space. They release many models a year as a company, covering three product lines, mid-high and low-end. Now they’re releasing the world’s first 5G Rugged Smartphone, called the Blackview BL6000 Pro. I’m pretty excited about this because it’s powered by MediaTek’s star processor, the Dimensity 800, which is a great chip that’s great and most importantly can bring 5G phones to life. The performance of this chip is good. The most important thing is that it can lower the price of 5G mobile phones, which is more in line with the consumption concept of ordinary customers.

The Dimensity 800 is an octa-core chipset consisting of two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2.0GHz. For graphics, it is equipped with ARM’s Mali-G57 GPU with a separate AI processing unit (APU).

The Dimensity 800’s 5G modem supports 5G + 5G dual-SIM dual mounts, dual VoNR (Voice over Radio New), sub-6GHz NSA/SA networks, and 5G two-carrier aggregation (2CC 5G-CA). The board contains MediaTek’s 5G UltraSave technology, which manages the operation of the modem based on the network environment and data transmission quality to improve the battery life of mobile devices.

The Blackview BL6000 Pro 5G is of course IP68 and IP69K certified and MIL-STD-810G (military standards), and can operate in temperatures ranging from -15 °C to -30 °C and also has an integrated “ice mode”. There are also other features including:

  • Mediatek Dimensity 800 AI CPU combined with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage;
  • Quad rear camera configuration with Sony IMX582 48 MP, ultra-wide 16 MP camera with
  • 120° FOV, 2 MP macro and 0.3 MP depth sensor. Features such as HDR, night mode and
  • 4K video recording. The front camera is 16 MP;
  • 5280mAh battery with support for 10W wireless charging;
  • Heart rate sensor and barometer;
  • Android 10, 4G Global LTE, NFC, WiFi, GPS & BeiDou & GLONASS & Galileo bands.

The Blackview BL6000 Pro’s battery capacity is as huge as it looks, 5,280mAh, which is almost twice the average size of a normal phone, and the battery life looks very good! However, please note that the body weighs a hefty 280 grams.

Plus, it supports fast charging, so you won’t have to worry about the battery aspect of your daily use! If it’s this big, you’ll be able to use it in situations where you can’t charge it outdoors for long periods of time with peace of mind.

The display of the BL6000 Pro 5G features a 6.3-inch LCD display. It has a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 (FHD+)! From the leaked pictures, we can see that this screen is a perforated screen, not a traditional water drop screen, it takes up a lot of screen space and makes for a highly immersive experience when watching videos! The resolution is FHD, so the definition is high, and you won’t be frustrated with your everyday use!
