Tablets may not be as popular as they used to be, but the segment is still pretty good. Individual manufacturers introduce new devices to the market from time to time. This time, Chuwi has started selling its latest proposition, Hipad X. The brand advertises this equipment as an ideal tool for both playing and entertainment.
Recently there is a fashion for releasing smartphones for players. Chuwi went one step further and prepared a tablet for players. The equipment has even the characteristic gaming design, and the casing is fully metal. The HiPad X is also supposed to offer a lot of power, because its heart is a ten-core MediaTek Helio P60 MT6771 processor with Mail G72 graphics. As a reminder, the Taiwanese have combined four A73 and four A53. The system is created in 12nm technological process.
However, players will probably not be happy that a relatively strong processor was combined with only 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of embedded memory. It also can put into two SIM cards to support LTE net. Not only can join WIFI to go online, but also enjoy the high-speed internet connection anytime and anywhere.
The new Chuwi HiPad X also has a 10.1-inch IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and Front camera: 5.0MP, Rear camera: 8.0MP. The communication in the tablet is provided by modules: Bluetooth 4.2 and dual band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, as well as 3.5 mm headphones and microUSB connectors. Unfortunately, there is no GPS on board.
This tablet PC works under the control of Android 10.0 and draws energy from a 3.8V 7000 mAh battery. The whole is 252.54*162.94*9.5 mm and weighs 550 grams.
Currently, Chuwi HiPad X can be bought for 199.99 dollars, but this is a promotional price, then it will increase slightly. It can be considered attractive, although I am not convinced that the tablet will meet the expectations of players – the average user, however, for sure.
