Cubot is one of the manufacturers with the most extensive catalogue of mobile phones that can be seen throughout the online stores, although for their managers this is not enough and they are already working on a new generation of phones for all tastes. Thus, one of the most anticipated models for the coming months is called Cubot J3.
Cubot J3 is an Android phone that combines a high quality design with some interesting internal components, but still belongs to the entry range. In this way, the excellent price-performance ratio that so well characterizes this manufacturer is maintained.
To begin developing the benefits of this phone over other similar alternatives it is necessary to focus on the design chosen, because in this case has not opted for plastic materials or provide a feeling of maximum simplicity in its housing that so much represent the cheapest mobile phones on the market. Here the aluminium elements are present.
When talking about the components that make up the technical section of the mobile phone, it is not possible to refer to innovations or radical changes to what is usually observed, since its overall performance is considered to be at the level of basic needs but without standing out in any aspect except for its main camera.
The screen is made of an IPS panel and reaches a traditional 5-inch size, while its resolution remains at 960 x 480 pixels which gives it an acceptable density of 215 dpi. In addition to being multi-touch, it also adds 1300:1 contrast and 450 cd/㎡ brightness to make it possible to enjoy playing videos, photos and games with a little more quality.
Internally, the processor is signed by MediaTek and its MT6580 model composed of four Cortex A-7 cores operating at a maximum frequency of 1.3 GHz. It is complemented by a Mali 400 multi-core GPU, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage space expandable via microSD.
If you don’t want a phone that is very powerful in its operation but that guarantees a good quality of the photographs it captures, Cubot J3 is probably interesting to watch closely. Its main sensor improves significantly up to 8.0MP with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, auto-focus technology and LED flash.
In the case of the frontal shot it is 5.0MP with f/2.8 aperture which can also achieve a good result for “selfies” (in case of good lighting conditions), while its battery promises to reach the end of the day with autonomy through a capacity of 2000 mAh.
Working with the latest version of Android 8.1, there’s no lack of support for dual SIM slot, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, GPS and OTG function. Unfortunately, their mobile data networks do not reach the new 4G LTE standard and it is only feasible to connect to 3G WCDMA and GSM networks.
