Elephone A7H is an affordable phone with a punch hole screen

A while back, we introduced Elephone A7, a mobile phone with a middle perforated screen from a Chinese second-tier mobile phone manufacturer. However, the Elephone A7H, which appeared at the Hong Kong Global Electronics Show in April 2019, is clearly a low-profile version of the A7.

The most different and creative ones in terms of these notch designs are usually from Huawei. But the Elephone A7H looks like it’s going to turn all the notch designs upside down.

The Elephone A7H features a 6.41-inch HD+ punch-hole display with an 8MP front camera, and it is based on a MediaTek Helio P23 processor (MT6763) with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM expandable with a microSD card slot, 3900mAh battery and two 13MP + 0.3MP cameras on the back (despite the prototype showing three) with LED flash.

This is precisely the case with the new Elephone A7H and U3H, two smartphones that fully summarize two trends already seen at the MWC 2019 and that are returning to this fair in Hong Kong: multi-camera and punch-hole displays. The two newcomers have a very similar design, with the front part occupied by the large screen and a shell with a glossy finish on the back, which reproduces hypnotic lighting effects with every little movement.

At first glance, the Elephone A7H seems identical, but actually have little in common, except for the front view. In fact, the display is surrounded by very thin edges and interrupted by a hole – in the upper and central part – that houses the selfie-camera, accompanied by the earphone capsule inserted in the small upper frame. In short, the design that a modern smartphone should have.

For the time being, this company seems to have a significant impact on the market in the coming period, even if it does not have a lot of product stock.
