MINIX company introduced a new mini-PC, called MINIX NEO N42C-4, a product with interesting functions, oriented to use as a desktop computer, for business in corporate or industrial networks, thanks to the license for Windows 10 Pro.
The device uses a Pentium N4200 processor. This chip is manufactured using 14 nm technology. The product contains four computational cores with a nominal clock speed of 1.1 GHz and the possibility of increasing to 2.5 GHz. The processor includes Intel HD Graphics 505 graphics accelerator.
Nettop in the basic configuration carries on board 4 GB of DDR3L RAM. If necessary, the amount of RAM can be doubled – up to 8 GB. The drive is eMMC 5.1 with a capacity of 32 GB. Additionally, you can install a solid state storage device in M.2 2280 format.
The mini-computer has wireless adapters Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1. Among the available interfaces, you can distinguish the USB Type-C connector and three USB 3.0 ports. For connecting displays, you can use the connectors HDMI 1.4 and mini DisplayPort.
