The new Oppo Find X arrives as one of the great innovations of the year by launching a retractable front and rear camera system. One more twist to the concept initially implemented by the Vivo NEX and its retractable front camera.
The display of the Oppo Find X is another of the great attractions of the smartphone since it shows a large screen ratio of 93.8%. This is due to the integration of the front camera and loudspeaker in a section integrated in the upper part of the housing that unfolds when necessary. As far as the screen specifications are concerned, the model incorporates a 6.42-inch Dual Arc OLED panel, 19.5: 9 aspect ratio and 2,360 x 1,080 pixel resolution. It has Gorilla Glass 5 protection layer and 3D design.
The Oppo Find X processor is none other than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 platform. An eight-core Kryo 385 chip with a maximum frequency of 2.8 GHz and Adreno 630 GOU integrated in the SoC itself.
The internal memory of the Oppo Find X comes in two versions, one with 128 GB and a second with a greater capacity of 256 GB. As far as the RAM is concerned, the Oppo smartphone rises to 8 GB. It should be noted that Android 8.1 Oreo and ColorOS is the software in charge of managing these resources.
As we have already indicated, the Oppo Find X camera is somewhat peculiar given that both the front camera and the rear cameras are not at first sight. And is that the design of the Oppo Find X is characterized by having a retractable motorized upper section that rises and discovers a section in which the two rear chambers are included in the back.
These two cameras have sensors of 20 and 16 megapixels that, by configuration, allow to capture more information of the depth of field in the photos and apply blur effects such as the Bokeh effect. This dual camera set has dual LED flash and is capable of recording 4K video.
As far as the front camera is concerned, the Oppo Find X has a 25 megapixel sensor.
The battery of the Oppo Find X reaches a maximum capacity of up to 3,730 mAh and comes standard with fast charging technology VOOC that significantly reduces the time required to store 100% of the available load.
The Oppo Find X has a single physical connection, the USB-C port since it does not have a mini jack for headphones. The rest of the services in this section are focused on wireless connections such as 4G + connectivity up to 1.2 Gbps on download, dual band WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and assisted GPS.
The official price of Oppo Find X announced in its European presentation starts from 999 euros for the model with 256 GB. There is an exclusive version called Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition that costs 1,699 euros.
The Oppo Find X has a facial recognition system as the only additional security system. There is no strike sensor, so the alternative is to use the unlock pattern or PIN code.
