Skyzone SKY03O Oled /SKY03S 5.8GHz 48CH Diversity FPV Goggles

They were announced at the end of July 2019: Skyzone SKY03Os are immersion glasses that rest on OLED screens. The manufacturer is thus considering competing with the FatShark V5 Attitude, also OLED, which are “light” versions of the HDOs, also of FatShark. OLED displays are renowned for their high brightness and flashy colors. The screen resolution is 1024 x 768 (slightly less than HD Ready), for a FOV of 35°. They therefore offer a larger screen size with a better definition than those of the Attitude V5 (640 x 480 and 30°). This definition indicates that the ratio is 4:3.

It is possible to provide the glasses with an analog video signal via a 3.5 mm jack connector, or digital with an HDMI Type-C connector. But Skyzone, as on previous models, has integrated a 5.8 GHz Diversity receiver (with 2 antennas with SMA connector). It is non-removable, adjustable with the OSD of the glasses, with an automatic frequency search tool, a video recorder (DVR) on a microSD memory card, compatible with 48 channels. This receiver is also capable of broadcasting the video stream via a 3.5 mm jack. The interpupillary space (IPD) is adjustable between 57.5 and 69.5 cm.

The Skyzone SKY03O includes a fan to avoid fogging when it is cold or when you take a sweat during a difficult flight sequence. A Headtracker is also integrated to control the orientation of a remote camera. The Skyzone trademark, a front camera, is located on the front panel. The manufacturer offers 9 coverings for SKY03O ! This is enough to avoid the eternal black which heats up a lot in the sun or the dirty white, and prefer a bright red or a very military camouflage…
