An overview of the budget TV set-top box Wechip V8 MAX – a new representative of Smart TV boxes, built on the basis of quad-core processor Amlogic S905X2 with a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz. Wechip V8 MAX is positioned as a budget TV box with a modern processor, which provides the necessary functionality for the user. This includes IPTV support, 4K video playback and digital audio output, as well as the full range of features of the Android OS – installation of applications and games, surfing the World Wide Web and so on.
At the same time, two versions of the device went on sale – with 4GB of DDR3 RAM and a built-in 32 GB ROM, as well as with 2 GB and 16 GB of memory called Wechip V8, respectively. As an operating system, Android is used in all cases of the updated version 8.1.
