ASUS PN61 Mini PC

For demanding users who need a relatively powerful system in a compact form factor, ASUS has released a new Mini PC model called ASUS PN61. It measures only 115 x 115 x 49 mm and weighs 0.7 kg. The new product is powered by an external adapter with a power of 65 or 90 watts. The delivery set optionally includes a keyboard and mouse. The price of the new ASUS PN61 is not reported.

Inside the new product is a processor Intel Core i5-8265U (4 / 8 x 1.6 – 3.9 GHz) or Intel Core i7-8565U (4 / 8 x 1.8 – 4.6 GHz). And the Intel UHD Graphics 620 Video Core is responsible for processing graphics, so don’t count on high gaming capabilities. DDR4-2400 RAM capacity can range from 2 to 32 GB. Two SO-DIMM slots are provided for it. The disk subsystem can include a 2.5-inch HDD with a capacity of 500 GB / 1 TB and / or M.2 SSD of 128 / 256 GB.

Networking capabilities in ASUS PN61 are provided by Intel’s Gigabit LAN controller and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5.0 wireless interface module. USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and 3.5mm audio ports are located on the front panel of the case. The main part of external interfaces is on the back side: 2 x USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB 3.1 Gen 1-C, HDMI, RJ45, DC-In and one port, which depends on the configuration (COM, VGA, Display Port, HDMI, LAN, Thunderbolt 3).
