The Zenfone 5 is not the only phone ASUS has wanted to showcase at MWC 2018. Although this is considered its “flagship” and the main representative of the new generation, the company also wanted to add other variants to its catalogue that are capable of satisfying all kinds of needs (and pockets). Among them is the ZenFone 5Z, a model that uses exactly the same body as the Zenfone 5, but includes a few different qualities inside.
The ZenFone 5Z features a 6.2-inch screen and a full panel design that occupies 90% of the front surface. It looks, as we say, identical to its brother Zenfone 5, as ASUS has preferred to adjust different specification configurations on the same chassis as a business strategy.
Thus, the 5Z is the first ZenFone to take advantage of the artificial intelligence capabilities of the Snapdragon 845 SoC, a processor that integrates. To “round it off” (ASUS words, not ours), your smartphone has up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage memory. At the connectivity level, it has LTE, Wi-Fi 2×2 802.11ac and Bluetooth.
In addition to the phones, it should be noted that ASUS wanted to answer Apple and Samsung with their own Zenimojis. As you’d expect, they can also translate your facial expressions into virtual avatars like those of a bear or the company’s “pet” owl, Zenny. What an epidemic….
