Chuwi SurBook Mini 2 in 1 Tablet PC
At the beginning of the week we have new information from Chuwi. The SurBook Mini 2-in-1 with a 10.8-inch Full HD IPS display and 125-degree kickstand, launched in October, will be available for $250 on Gearbest from November 13. The tablet part weighs 780 grams and offers 450 nits of brightness, internally operates an Apollo Lake Celeron N3450 processor, thus the well-known atomic technology. Chuwi has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of memory integrated, which can be expanded via micro SD card slot.
Otherwise, there are 2 USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C (data and video-out) and a 3.5 mm jack socket available. The battery holds 37.38 Wh, which according to Chuwi is enough for 3.9 hours of video playback or 3.3 hours of WLAN surfing. Those who would rather have something more powerful can participate in the CoreBook Indiegogo campaign, here Chuwi is using a Core M3 processor from Intel for the first time. Battery life less than 4 hours
The battery life may not be sufficient for some users: Chuwi indicates 3 hours and 30 minutes of operation with activated WLAN and 80 percent brightness. This seems to be a realistic figure for 27.5 watt hours.
