CHUWI SurPad 10.1 Inch Android 10.0 Tablet With Keyboard

CHUWI has recently launched a new Android tablet called SurPad with high portability as its main selling point. But of course, the advanced features cannot be neglected either. High-textured metal body, 10.1-inch FHD display, octa-core processor or ultra-fast UFS storage It also supports dual-board 4G LTE network, GPS positioning and with an optional keyboard, it fulfills 2-in-1 roles. It is therefore a very versatile device and we have some reference tests for you today to illustrate this.

To test the performance of the processor, Geekbench 5 was first used for a series of tests. And the final score for the octa-core Helio P60 processor in the CPU part is surely not bad: 301 points single-core and 1414 points multi-core, 1146 points in OpenGL were also relatively good, enough to cope with most applications smoothly.

Then we have the GFXBench running large-scale 3D game scenes to test GPU performance. In the test, SurPad also performed very well, as you can see on the attached picture. And since the benchmark always goes to extremes, you can expect even better performance in real-world games. To test it out, they also released casual games like Super Mario Run or Minecraft, possibly the most demanding Wild Speed 9 Pursuit. And SurPad hasn’t disappointed as a gaming device for mainstream and lighter titles. And the chamfering of the metal body adds a very comfortable grip.

Another strong point is the use of UFS internal memory, as most other Android tablets on the market (except Samsung) use the old eMMC. And the difference is really drastic, as the read and write speed is about 3 times faster using UFS. In the actual test, the average reading speed is rounded up to about 463.29 MB/s and the maximum value can reach 552.35 MB/s. This will contribute to a better overall handling experience with the tablet, especially with loading times and handling of large files.

CHUWI SurPad is also equipped with the Mali G72 GPU, which manages to decode 4K video quite easily. And with a large 10.1-inch display with FHD resolution, you can watch movies with exceptional quality.

SurPad is also the true 2-in-1 device. You can easily connect the magnetic keyboard and instantly turn it into a laptop. So it’s a tablet not only for entertainment purposes, but it can also easily handle certain office and productivity tasks.

As you can see from all the above tests, CHUWI SurPad is a small, thin and lightweight 2 in 1 tablet that is quite capable. Weighing only 542g, it can be easily transported and works very well in more or less everything. So if you are looking for your next Android tablet, it should definitely be on your radar.
