Eachine EV800DM Varifocal 5.8G 40CH Diversity FPV Goggles
If the immersion glasses seem too expensive, choose a mask. The newcomer to Eachine is the EV800DM. It measures 15 x 17 x 8 cm and weighs 320 grams without antennas, and is based on a 3-inch screen with a resolution of 900 x 600 pixels in the format 4:3. The screen is enlarged through a 3x lens for an FOV of 82° without distortion or blurring in the corners.
The EV800DM has an adjustable focal length of 20 mm, with the possibility of wearing corrective eyeglasses. The integrated battery is a 2000 mAh LiHV 3.8V 3.8V that provides more than 2 hours of flight time. It is charged with a supplied USB cable, and can be powered by a 2S or 3S battery. Image reception is provided by two RX5808 Pro Diversity type modules, with a sensitivity of -90 dBm, with a directional patch antenna and a polarized mushroom antenna. A frequency scanner allows you to quickly find the one you are transmitting on among the 40 supported.
Eachine has added a 720 x 576 pixel video recorder, ensuring that it doesn’t miss a frame even in case of poor reception – unlike FatShark DVRs for example. Why two Diversity modules? For, according to Eachine, one to take care of the display and the other of the recording, independently but by sharing the antennas. The mask has an AV/In-Out connector to provide video input and output. Its price? It will be offered at $95.99 at Banggood.
