This device is offered in a package with everything you need to pilot, i. e. a radio control and an immersion mask. It echoes the Novice-I pack, already proposed by Eachine with a Tinywhoop type nano racer (see here). The Novice-II is also a nano racer, but a version without propeller guards, intended for slightly more engaged flights. It is equipped with 1103 to 8500KV brushless motors for HQProp T65 two-bladed propellers. The structure on which they are mounted is made of carbon, with a diagonal of 12 cm from motor to motor for dimensions of 10 x 10 x 10 x 4 cm and a weight of 50 grams without the battery.
There is a Nano X4 flight controller Nano X X F4 flight, with a current sensor, a FrSky D8 compatible radio receiver, flashed with Betaflight and an active OSD. It is associated with a 4 in 1 ESC of 5A DShot600. The video part is provided by an EOS2 V2 camera from Caddx, 1200TVL, whose angle can be modified, associated with a 5.8 GHz video transmitter of 40 channels capable of transmitting at 25 mW (the maximum authorized in France) or 200 mW SmartAudio compatible for settings from the radio control. A buzzer is integrated in the assembly, to find the device more quickly in case of a crash.
The Novice-II is designed for 1S or 2S batteries. It is delivered with 2 copies of LiHV 1S 3,8V of 460 mAh. So it’s not a power monster, but since it’s small and lightweight, it probably allows flights fast enough to be a racer-school! It is probably a little more reactive with 2S batteries. For this purpose, the device is equipped with two PST PH2.0 connectors.
The Novice-II is available in RTF version for $155.00 at Banggood (without the port, without taxes), ready to fly, with 2 batteries, a 6 battery charger, the Eachine WT8 FrSky compatible remote control in mode 2 (gas on the left), and an immersion mask with a 5.8 GHz Eachine VR009 receiver.
