Hafury K30 6.5 Inch Smartphone with Android 10.0 OS

With the Hafury G20, the Chinese manufacturer recently introduced an inexpensive Android 10 smartphone. With the Hafury K30, the manufacturer is now taking the plunge and showing that it can be even cheaper. The K30 currently starts with a sales price of 120€ and will probably be available soon for considerably less than $100. For this price you get a large 6.5 inch HD display, 3/64GB memory, a quad camera and the latest Android 10 system. In this announcement we take a closer look at the Hafury K30.

While the Hafury K30 is more likely to copy the Huawei P40 Pro in terms of design, the manufacturer was inspired by the Hafury K30 in the Mate 30 Pro. At least the opulent, circular camera module with four lenses on the backside speaks for that. The smartphone weighs 200 grams and measures 163 x 75.4 x 8.8 millimeters. On the front we find the typical Waterdrop-Notch in which the front camera is accommodated. The display measures 6.5 inches and works with IPS technology. The resolution is 1560 x 720 pixels, thus HD+. Divided over the picture area, this results in a pixel density of 266. Individual pixels are still visible to the eye, but the picture is sufficiently sharp for everyday use.

Connectors are USB-C on the bottom and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top. The back of the smartphone can be removed. Underneath you get access to the battery as well as three slots for two SIM cards and a micro SD for memory expansion. This definitely gives you an oldschool feeling!

You cannot expect high performance from a low-budget smartphone. However, the Mediatek Helio A20 processor should provide sufficient speed in the system. The CPU consists of four cores with 1.8GHz. An IMG PowerVR GE8300 GPU provides the graphics performance. The chip has 3GB of RAM available. For storing files 64GB eMMc are available. With this configuration, the Android system should be pleasantly usable, but you have to reckon with the odd waiting second.

The Hafury K30 works with an unchanged Android 10 system. So the user has the advantage that he does not have to hope for an update to the latest Android version. In addition, Hfury hardly modifies the system on its smartphones at all, so that one can also hope for a clean and tidy system with the K30. The Google Playstore and the German language are of course also included.

The Hafury K30 has a pretty swank quad-camera module on the back. Allegedly four sensors with the following specifications are used:

• Main Camera: SONY IMX486 12.0MP
• Depth Sensor Camera: SONY IMX350 20.0MP
• Macro Camera: 2.0MP
• Ultra Camera: 0.3MP with 1A flashlight 8.0MP AI beauty front camera

Otherwise there is dual-band Wifi with n-standard and Bluetooth 4.2. The location is determined via GPS & A-GPS. At sensors there are only the standards (brightness, proximity, acceleration). A gyroscope and an e-compass are not available. NFC is supported by the Hafury K30. The battery of the Hafury K30 measures 4200mAh. This is a good value for a 6.5 inch smartphone with HD resolution. The Hafury K30 should definitely last a day of intensive use. If you rarely use your Smartphone, you might even get two days of use.
