Hystou H5 Mini PC With Intel Core i5-8250U CPU
Hystou Inc., the world leader in small form factor computer technology, today announces the renewal of its Hystou H5. Equipped with the new Intel I5-8250U CPU platform, the Hystou H5 is a palm-sized, low-power, 4K PC ideal for a variety of applications, including home, office and digital signage.
The H5 comes with a set of 8th generation Intel I5-8250U and supports dual-channel memory up to 32 GB DDR4. Thanks to 8th generation technology, the system reduces power consumption and provides significant performance improvements. The Hystou H5 features HDMI 2.0a and DisplayPort video outputs to support two displays and improve performance and efficiency. In addition, thanks to HDMI 2.0a, the NC10U series provides smooth 4K content and 4K-HDR video playback.
Despite its small size, the Hystou H5 does not save on its connectivity. It offers several inputs/outputs for connection to peripherals, including two USB2.0, two USB 3.2 Gen1 (type A x1, type C x1), M.2, RS232, SATA 6 Gbps, SD card reader, Intel Giga LAN and built-in Wi-Fi. One built-in USB Type-C provides users with more convenience because these connectors do not require up or down orientation.
In addition, there is still enough room for flexibility of expansion. The Hystou H5 uses a new design that supports one 2.5-inch HDD up to 15 mm high, as well as one M.2 space for high-speed NVMe SSDs or other compatible devices.
The Hystou H5 is compatible with the VESA mount and can be installed either behind a display panel or discreetly on the desktop. Thanks to Shuttle’s heat-tube cooling technology, this series is certified to work 24/7, quietly and without overheating, even at temperatures up to 50°C.
