ROIDMI NEX 2 Plus Cordless Stick Handheld Vacuum Cleaner

Today, November 6, 2020, Xiaomi has welcomed into its boundless ecosystem a new 2-in-1 wireless vacuum cleaner: Roidmi – one of the many brands that gravitate in the orbit of the Chinese giant (increasingly strong in the smartphone market) – has announced its new flagship model NEX2 Plus.

This new model completes a line-up that already included the two presented a few months ago and stands out for its ability to double as a vacuum cleaner and an electric floor washer.

Roidmi NEX2 Plus looks, in fact, like a classic cordless vacuum cleaner, however, can be used both dry and wet and also integrates an electric floor washer. Switching from one function to the other is extremely simple: the user only has to unhook one head and mount the other one provided.

As a vacuum cleaner, the Roidmi NEX2 Plus features a 120,000 rpm brushless digital motor with 150W suction power and an Engine-X 2.0 system that promises greater fuel efficiency. This is a cyclonic vacuum and the integrated 8-cone cyclone dust-gas separation technology should prevent any clogging.

The new NEX-V design allows you to use a single brush for floors, tiles and carpets and makes use of waterproof fibers, specially designed to leave no fingerprints and with a 30% improved anti-wrap system over previous models.

As for the floor scrubber function, Roidmi boasts electronically controlled technology for quick cleaning and drying to avoid damaging wooden surfaces.

Finally, Roidmi NEX2 Plus has a claimed autonomy of up to 80 minutes and promises to clean a 450 square meter room on a single charge (which is done with the now usual magnetic wireless system).

Roidmi NEX2 Plus has a list price of $639.99. At the moment there is no information about the commercialization of this model in our parts, possibly Xiaomi-branded.
