X2 Cube is a tiny Android 9.0 set-top box equipped with the latest Amlogic S905X2 processor combined with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash memory. The new Amlogic chipset supports a USB 3.0 port that provides good system performance. The set-top box also features a Gigabit Ethernet network port, which should make the device particularly suitable for network file storage in addition to regular 4K HDR video playback or streaming.
However, in most cases, the firmware for such set-top boxes does not allow you to easily configure the SAMBA server (also known as a Windows network resource), so you will have to either modify the firmware configuration yourself or install a paid application. Ugoos is different in that it has long had the ability to enable the NFS and SAMBA client and / or server in the settings, and Ugoos X2 Cube is no exception in this regard.
The Ugoos X2 Cube comes with a power adapter, HDMI and USB cables, remote control, IR receiver extension, WiFi antenna and user manual.
