A few months ago, Xiaomi launched the second generation of mobile devices from the Android One line. As we all know, these devices are sold only outside of China and run on Google’s original operating system without any addition or change by the manufacturer. However, the year 2019 has arrived, which means that the presentation of the Xiaomi Mi A3 could be close by, and will apparently receive the most desired features, in addition to the look and feel that everyone had long dreamed of.
While the developers of the XDA forum were analyzing the MIUI 10 firmware for the Xiaomi Mi 8, they found in it a mention of a phone with the code name “orchid_sprout”. Previously, the three Android One phones had the code names “tissot_sprout” (A1), “jasmine_sprout” (A2) and “daisy_sprout” (A2 Lite). Having all the word “sprout”, it is predicted that “orchid_sprout” will become the next phone in Xiaomi’s Android One line, the Xiaomi Mi A3. Its presentation should take place somewhere in mid 2019, or maybe a little earlier.
The source code says that the Xiaomi Mi A3 will have an NFC chip, which means that it will be able to fully work with the Google Pay payment system and its counterparts, all over the world in general. This feature is guaranteed to be enjoyed by all those who want to buy this device. NXP will be responsible for the assembly and production of the phone, although this says little. Users can still rely on impeccable construction quality and excellent quality control of the manufactured products.
It is also guaranteed that the Xiaomi Mi A3 will receive not only NFC, but also 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and GLONASS communication modules. In addition, directly “out of the box” the device will come with the Android 9.0 Pie operating system. On the other hand, predictions say that the processor we will find in the terminal could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 or 710. And of course, it is expected to use at least 4GB of RAM, although there may also be a second model with 6GB of RAM.
