Xiaomi confirms that its new Mi Mix 4 (Xiaomi Mi α) will abandon the sliding system of Mi Mix 3

After introducing the new Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro, Xiaomi is now fully ready to announce its new generation Mi Mix. A new smartphone that will probably abandon its name “Mi Mix 4” to be called in a totally new way.

Now, it has been Lei Jun, CEO and founder of Xiaomi, who has published several images of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, praising first and foremost its front camera design that undoubtedly remains one of the most innovative designs on the market, also allowing to achieve a real “all screen”.

In addition, the CEO wanted to remember that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is still his personal smartphone, adding that a good design can stand the test of time, especially because of its ceramic finish. A small wink that has been interpreted by fans of the brand, as well as various media in the Asian country, could lead to a new generation Mi Mix where the sliding system of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 would be completely abandoned.

And if we remember, the current Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has a sliding magnetic type system capable of hiding its front camera. Something that could change in the new Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 or Xiaomi Mix α (Alpha) as some rumors point resulting in the integration of a camera under screen or even the already seen retractable camera.
