Today we have as a novelty the new model of Smart TV Box UGOOS AM6 Plus which is a version of the previous UGOOS AM6 and AM6 Pro that we saw in our reviews, in this version the SoC S922X is changed by the new Amlogic S922XJ. A Box with this SoC theoretically improves its maximum speed from 1.8GHz to 2.2GHz and also has hardware support for Dolby Vision and Dolby audio.
The Ugoos AM6 Plus includes the Amlogic S922XJ SoC, a Hexa Core manufactured in 12nm with 4 ARM Cortex-A73 processors capable of reaching 2.2Ghz + 2 Cortex-A53 RAM processors that reach 1.9Ghz. The GPU manufactured in 16nm is an ARM Mali-G52 MP6 with a maximum speed of 846MHz compatible with OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan 1.0 that allows us to run powerful games such as PUBG and similar ones.
In the video section, your VPU integrates the Amlogic Video Engine (AVE-10) processor with all types of HDR, Dolby Vision, Advanced HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, PRIME HDR support and REC709 / BT2020 profile support. The RAM is 4GB LPDDR4 and the storage is eMMc 5.1 with a capacity of 32GB expandable thanks to a microSD card reader.
As for wireless connectivity, the Ugoos AM6 Plus has Dual Band WiFi and Bluetooth with two external antennas. At the interface level, we have 1 USB 3.0 port, three USB 2.0 OTG, Gigabit Ethernet connector, SPDIF digital audio output, an HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm jack for analog audio and video on the perimeter of the plastic box.
