UMIDIGI Z3 4G Phablet with Helio P70

As we all know, UMIDIGI’s smartphones are known for their beautiful appearance. At the beginning of 2019, their company’s UMIDIGI F1 was very hot and was in hot sale on major e-commerce platforms. The biggest selling point of this F1 phone are the powerful Helio P60 processor with water-drop screen. Now, according to internal news from China’s mobile phone circle, their company is about to release a mobile phone equipped with Helio P70 processor, called UMIDIGI Z3.

The smartphone market has already gone through countless phases and trends. Initially we saw brands betting on small screens, then followed the race for megapixels in the cameras. Then, we had to follow the growth of the screens, the finest smartphones ever. Then it became clear that the important thing was autonomy at the expense of thickness…

The story continued and today we have smartphones with huge screens occupying a large part of the front structure of smartphones and cameras that, in addition to doubles, bet on the number of megapixels. Umidigi seems to want to follow the trend.

The large display with a resolution of 2,246 x 1,080 pixels is powered by the Mediatek Helio P70. This is a SoC for mid-range devices with four Cortex-A73 and four additional Cortex-A53 cores, each with 2.1 GHz. In addition, there are dedicated units for artificial intelligence, such as those used by Apple in the A11 Bionic or Huawei in the Kirin 970. The AI should be able to show its strengths in face recognition and filtering.

The Umidigi Z3 also has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB memory. The color variants “Carbon Fiber Black” and “Twilight” are available, whereby the former corresponds to a classic black with carbon texture on the back and the latter has a purple-turquoise color gradient.

Just like the Huawei Nova 4 and Honor View 10 smartphones, or even the new Redmi Note 7, the Umidigi Z3 will come equipped with a 48.0 MP camera developed by Sony.
According to Umidigi, the camera will be a Sony IMX587 sensor, which can be combined with the 12.0 MP sensor.

On the right side of Z3 is the power button and above it the volume rocker. To the left is only the SIM compartment. Here either two Nano-SIM fit in, or a Nano-SIM and a Micro-SD for memory expansion. On the underside there is one grille for the microphone and one for the loudspeaker and in the middle we find the USB Type-C connector. On the top side there is only one microphone and that’s it.

And another phone Umidigi S3 Pro, which should arrive at the end of January, will come equipped with a quality camera never seen before at Umidigi, with results that have already begun to be published on the Web. The same thing as the UMIDIGI Z3 is that they will all run this year’s latest Android 9.0 system, which is comparable to the fluency of the IOS system.
