The line of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 smartphones is quite popular in India. This series consists of two models – Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro. Smartphones have been released with a short break in the Chinese and Indian markets. They differ not only in cost, but also in camera configuration. A few days ago, the head of Xiaomi India announced the appearance of a smartphone with a 48-megapixel camera sensor. Today this information was officially confirmed.

On May 20 in India will be held the presentation of Redmi Note 7S smartphone equipped with a dual camera with a resolution of 48 MP + 5 MP. The novelty is equipped with a 6.3-inch Full HD display. The screen resolution is 2340×1080 pixels. Aspect ratio is 19.5:9. The smartphone is equipped with an eight-core central processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. The clock frequency is 2.2 GHz. Adreno 512 is used as a GPU module.

The smartphone will be available in two configurations of RAM – 3 GB and 4 GB. The built-in memory capacity is 32 GB and 64 GB. Users will be able to expand their flash memory up to 256 GB by connecting a MicroSD card. On the front side is a 13-megapixel front camera with support for several popular modes: AI Portrait Mode, AI Smart Beauty, HDR and AI Scene Recognition.
